Failing to penetrate our skulls
Grown thick with indifference.
The four eyes stare at the blackboard
Wondering and wandering
Over lines that mean something
To them, but absolutely nothing
To the nonchalant thick skulls.
The eyes though well guarded
Behind black frames, dull and thick,
Give away the not so faint traces
Of expected amusement and contempt.
A sea of blank eyes stares back,
Some drowned in despair;
Drowsy ears distractedly listen
Comprehending nothing of
The alien sounds uttered with ease.
The desperate mind longing for life
Picks up a nonexistent thread
From a fabric stretching under strain.
It brings a smile in the corner
Of the lips moist with drool
From years of indifferent slumber
Lost in dense oblivion,
As the four eyes get lost among
The endless convolutions of time
Like many others before them.
- i usually don't write poetry.. but when life throws rotten things at u, therz no other option but to throw stuff back at it.

me first me first:D...really kewl megz!..i can exactly comprehend wht u say...an' after todays '0.5 to 39' range lecture..my life + SS couldnt be better!!!seriously..lookin' forward to more poems;)
u shud write more poems.....nd man his two hr lecture today really deppressed me....not tht i bothrd to listen to the whole of it.(u c thers serious propagation loss of the signals by the time it reaches us)
the endless convolutions of time...yea thts exactly wat all this seems like..(life used to so much bettr wen i was ten)..btw word of the day tomo is convolution:D
